The heritage-protected building, located at Duisburg’s main railway station, was formerly used by Deutsche Bahn AG and in need of major renovation work. The office space stood partly vacant and featured outdated fixtures and fittings. Parts of the property were used for residential purposes.
This project drew upon the full extent of our expertise in refurbishment: We restructured the property during ongoing operations and, in doing so, put all the arrangements in place for creating a consistent office building. We redistributed existing tenants within the property. In addition, we renovated the building’s exterior and interior in compliance with regulations for heritage-protected properties.
The total rentable area of 4,800 square meters is now fully let. The external areas and related parking spaces were created in 2015. The entire fourth floor is used by Aurelis to house its Region West operations.
