Two unutilised heritage-protected halls of 20,000 and 13,000 square meters stood on this former repair centre’s land.
Our commercial utilisation concept considered the site’s very good transportation connections: the highway is only 1.5 kilometres away, and a rail connection leads directly onto the land, which helped us acquire two high-quality tenants. We have created a fully automated high-bay racking system for a school book publisher in the smaller hall. An international energy and transportation sector company also decided in favour of this location – especially in view of its rail connection. We carried out the complex conversions in line with precise user specifications while taking the requirements of heritage protected properties into account. Both tenants have committed themselves long-term to this site.
These portfolio developments were challenging due to the special requirements. Sound collaboration with the City of Brunswick, the project participants' precise market knowledge, and cooperative interaction with the tenants have enabled two sophisticated projects to be realised within a short time.
