Aurelis Real Estate GmbH captures the following data and information when you use this website:

Log files

It is possible to visit our website without informing us of your identity. However, like almost all other websites, the servers that host our website automatically collect information about your usage of our website.

These log files automatically record personal data such as your IP address, the date and the time you visited our site, which pages you viewed, the website you visited before using our site, the type of browser you used (e.g. Internet Explorer), your operating system (e.g. Windows XP), and/or the domain name and address of your Internet provider (e.g. AOL). Should our website use cookies (as explained below), the log files will also record this information.

We regularly analyze server protocols anonymously for statistical purposes (clickstream analyses). This enables us to ascertain how our website is used. We can use these findings to enhance our web offering.

In addition, we can use this information in the event of any misuse of our website, in cooperation with your Internet provider and/or appropriate local authorities, to identify the source of the misuse.

Some of our websites use cookies. A cookie is a data file transmitted from our web server to your computer (where it is stored in your browser directory), as soon as you visit our website.

We use the following cookies on some of our websites:

Session cookies

These cookies are used for the duration of your internet session, expiring when you close your browser. They do not contain any personal data and are only used for statistical analyses to enhance our web offering.

Cookies from third parties on our websites (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the user’s use of the online offer are usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate user’s use of our online offers, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offer and internet usage. In doing so, pseudonymous usage profiles of users can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the user’s IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address submitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data provided by Google.

Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users may also prevent the collection of data by Google generated by the cookie and related to use of the online offer as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
